Whether you have experience within care, residential backgrounds, coaching, sports work, or community work, we would love to hear from you! You don’t need a formal teaching assistant qualification, just transferrable skills, and a desire to make a difference to the lives of young children/adults.

 

Working patterns available;

 

·      Full time.

·      Part time.

·      Day to day, flexible working pattern to suit you.

 

Hours of work;

 

·      08.30am-15.30pm (Full time).

·      08.30am-12.00pm (Morning only).

·      12.30-3.30pm (afternoon only).

 

Rates of pay;

 

·      £18,850 - £23,200 (pro rata).

 

Age range;

 

·      Primary Schools (4-11 years).

·      Secondary Schools (11-16 years).

·      Special Educational Needs Schools (4-25 years).

 

Qualifications;

 

·      Non-required – Transferrable skills needed.

 

 

Your duties will include;

 

·      Setting up equipment for lessons.

·      Maintaining and keeping the classroom safe and tidy.

·      Motivating and encouraging pupils.

·      Monitoring children’s behaviour and progress.

·      Keeping pupils engaged with their learning, following the national curriculum.

·      Encouraging pupils to interact and engage within activities.

·      Establish trusting relationships with pupils and interact with them according to their individual needs and personalities.

 

 

You will need to have;

 

·      Transferrable skills from your personal or working life.

·      The ability to demonstrate active listening skills and strong verbal communication skills

·      The ability to build positive relationships and understand the individual needs of the children in your care.

·      The ability to provide varying levels of individual attention, reassurance, and support.

·      A personable, calm, and caring demeanour.
