SupplyGoare actively seeking Special Educational Needs Learning Support Assistants' to work at a Specialist SEND School in the Belper & Matlock Area. The role will consist of working on a 1:1 basis with children aged between 5-19 years old, predominantly with Autism, ADHD, and other relating learning difficulties.
The school are currently looking for a large number of SEN Learning Support Assistants to work on either a full-time or part-time basis from September 2024. There is also a possibility of these roles being available on a Temp-to-Perm basis too.
The school specialises in working with students with High-Functioning Autism, ADHD, Global Development Delay, Visual & Hearing Impairments, and they also have a wide number of Speech & Language staff, and Occupational Therapists.
You will be a part of a child’s ongoing development and route to independence and will be working with other professionals to help create a fun nurturing environment. There is nothing better than watching a child grow and develop into a young adult with the knowledge that you have been a large part of that ongoing development. You will be given a comprehensive walk around the school, talk about the roles themselves and ask any questions you have about the schools themselves.

· Forming a strong relationship with the children in your care.
· Helping the children become more independent.
· Supporting the children within the class with emotional support.
· Working with other education & SEND professionals.
· Working on a child’s development plan.

Hours
Monday to Friday (No weekends)
08:30am - 16:00pm (Non-Negotiable)
